SUNSPRA is proud to sponsor four award programs each academic year.
Sunshine Medallion Awards of Excellence – Celebrating the outstanding work in a variety of categories. Winners announced at the annual conference. Submissions are due in March for work created on March 30 of the year prior to the due date.
Congratulations to the 2025-26 Fall Award Recipients: Terry Connor, Superintendent of Sarasota County Schools, winner of the Outstanding Superintendent Communicator Award; Katherine Crnkovich, Chief Communications Officer for Seminole County Public Schools, Florida’s School Communicator of the Year; and Reinhold Schmieding and Arthrex, recipients of the SUNSPRA Margie Davidson Leading Light Award.
